As the company enters an exciting period of growth, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Human Resources Advisor to support and drive HR strategy and employee experience. The role will focus on onboarding, offboarding, people advice, recruitment, training and development and culture. Based in our modern Head Office in Marrickville, you will work collaboratively with our passionate team and thrive working in a fast-paced environment.
Human Resources Advisor Application | Billini Head Office
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be a true HR generalist and be the first point of contact for all HR queries.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding and deliver Billini induction
- Prepare employment contracts and maintain accurate employee records in Employment Hero
- Work with our leaders and their teams to advise on people matters and policies, including performance management, award interpretation and overall compliance
- Take ownership of processes and always adopt a process improvement mindset
- Support the performance management and review process
- Plan team building events that focus on inclusiveness and employee engagement
- Keep up to date with Australian employment law and applicable Awards.
- Be a cultural champion who lives and breathes our values: passionate, collaborative and progressive
- Support corporate, retail and warehouse recruitment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategy and planning
- Assist in the implementation of people initiatives that drive positive employee experience, development and culture
ABOUT YOU
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR Administration role
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
- Knowledge of employment law, employee relations and industrial relations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- A culture champion with a people first mentality who builds authentic relationships and motivates others
- Laser sharp administration skills
- Thrives working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience investigating and resolving workplace grievances
- A can-do, flexible and proactive attitude
- Experience with Employment Hero is desirable but not essential
